گروگانگیری کاری نسنجیده و زیانبار بود

جبهه ملی ایران با وجود اعتراض شدیدی که به مناسبت مباشرت آمریکا در کودتای 28 مرداد 1332 نسبت به آن کشورداشت در آبانماه 1358 با گروگان گیری مخالفت کرد و در بیانیه ها و روزنامه پیام جبهه ملی این مخالفت را با دلایل استوار و پیش بینی مضرات آن منعکس ساخت . هم اکنون جبهه ملی ایران معتقد است که کشور ما برای پیش گیری از ادامه ی ضررهای ناشی از گروگان گیری و خصومت باب روابط دوستانه و تعامل را با آمریکا بگشاید و در آینده از گزند دشمنی ها و چالش ها و موذیگری های او بپرهیزد .

Why this, why now and what is the use?

Has JM not slept with enough strange bedfellows? Has it not done enough damage out of ignorance or arrogance? It is nothing but an irrelevant fossil that puts even the legacy of Mossadegh to shame. To help follow the Iranian students pointing to the future not this stale look-at-me-I-matter snore JM whachamacallit from the past.
JM condemned a condemnable act after it helped bring the perpetrators into power. Woopy doo.

Are you able to read Persian??????? JM condemned the hostage taking 30 years ago. This elamieh repeats that condemnation and reminds all that 30 years ago, it was one of the very few organizations that PUBLICLY condemned the hostage taking. I even highlighted that segment.
