G8 Leaders Condemn Violence in Iran

Group of Eight leaders meeting in Italy say they deplore the deadly post-election violence in Iran and they call the arrests of journalists unacceptable.

U.S. officials say the G8 leaders issued a strong and significant statement on Iran following a working dinner Wednesday night.

The officials say the leaders are losing patience with Iran's refusal to meet its international obligations to give up its suspected nuclear weapons program

The leaders did not threaten any new sanctions Wednesday. French President Nicloas Sarkozy said all eight agreed to give negotiations with Iran a chance until September, when another major summit convenes.

The G8 statement also demands Iran let foreign embassy employees work unhindered and it condemns Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's denial of the Holocaust.

The G8 statement also condemns North Korea's nuclear weapons program and its missile tests. The leaders also gave their backing to Pakistan's fight against terrorism

Why do YOU Miss Iran?

This is an IRANIAN site. I have not seen you Arabs/Palestinains condemn kiiling of 10s of  Iranians and beating of old men and women in all parts of Iran. If you don't feel sorry of the death of the most educated and beatiful people of Iran, why do you come to this site

You opened a pandora’s box!

 

1-     If the G8’s words don’t count like you always claim, then why are you mad? Let them say whatever they wanna say, right?

 

2-     If their word counts, then, aren’t we always supposed to listen to what they say? So, when they condemn IRI barbarism, shouldn’t we pay attention?

 

3-     They have condemned China. So, lying would not help you save the IRI regime.

 

4-     Here’s a question for you, aren’t Xinkiang Muslims “Muslims” also? Or is just the Gaza Muslims? Because IRI is dead silent, like you are, on the crimes committed by Russia and China and others in Chechnya and Xinkiang and Kashmir against Muslims, but it screams day and night about the Palestinians. Any person with half of brain would find that “odd” to put it mildly. What do you think?

 

5-     How come IRI has the right to interfere and state opinion about every little thing in America, Europe, Israel, Arab countries and anyone who is a civilized friend of the west country including their politics, culture, economics,,…but others don’t have the right to talk about whats going on in Iran?
