The media war on Iran
Media Monitors / Tahir Mahmoud
06-Jul-2009 (5 comments)

The shooting may have stopped but the war against the Islamic State has continued in other ways: political, economic and particularly in the media. Ample evidence of this is available from the days both preceding and following the June 12 presidential elections in Iran in which the incumbent, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad won a convincing victory. As soon as the first results were announced, a full-scale war was unleashed against Iran, led by the BBC, but soon joined by others. Even the Arab media, representing such leading lights of democracy as Saudi Arabia and Egypt, started complaining about lack of democracy in Iran. The Saudi-owned al-Arabiya, was the most vocal in its condemnation.

Media finally exposed IRIs barbarism!

by Farhad Kashani on

For the last 8 years, Fascist regimes such as IRI and others, got a free pass while the Leftist media engaged in flase anti Bushism. Not only there wasn't any war on the IRI, but IRI was helped enormously by the misguided leftist media. Well , guess what! The chicckens have came home to roost!

Now, even those media weren't able to twist reality in favor of IRIs regime because of the efforts of Iranians to expose IRIs brutality on sites such as twitter and youtube. IRI and Leftist media and its supporters like Shah Gholam aziz!! have lost, and the people of Iran, the world and neutral media have won!

Faulty Logic

by Agha Javad (not verified) on

Several points to Tahir Mahould:

(1) You cannot average the votes per box because the population is not distributed uniformly. For example, you cannot tell that Tehran ballot boxes have 860 votes per box. Each district in Tehran could have at least 100,000 votes.

(2) Ballots are not counted in polling places in Iran. The boxes were supposed to be delivered to the interior ministry to be counted there. Judging the traffic in Tehran, this could have taken anywhere from 2 to 5 hours until all ballot boxes are taken to the interior ministry. Then these boxes were to be organized, opened, their ballots counted by hand.

(3) Then, the results of votes from 45000 boxes were to be entered into spread sheet. How long will that take? My guess is at least 5 hours.

(4) Since Tahir Mahmoud mentioned the USA, consider the most recent election. Although everything was computerized (no hand counting) the final result did not come in until 5 hours later. How could Iran count 40 million votes by hand in two hours. By the way, the result for the Minnesota senate race was confirmed only two day ago 8 months after the election.

(5) One does not need to go into any analysis to figure out that the election was a fraud. Just note that Mr. Karroubi received 5 million votes in 2005 election among 6 candidates. He has been campaigning for four years. It is impossible to accept that he received only 400,000 votes total in 2009.

(6) Again, look at Mr. Karroubi’s votes in the state of Lorestaan (his birth state) in 2005. He received 440,273 votes in that state in 2005, or 55% of the vote for that state. Now compare that with the 2009 election when he received 4403 votes. Do you see the similarity in the number of votes for 2005 and 2009 elections? The last three digits for the vote in 2005 election were rounded to get the 2009 vote. In other words, the 440,273 votes of 2005 were simplified to 4403 votes for 2009.

(7) The conclusion: Not a single vote was counted in 2009 election. Each candidate was assigned a percentage of the total vote and the results were reported. This method of voting can be done in two hours for sure.

US Media is controlled by the Zio-Nazis

by wgm1919 on

It is so obvious that due to Zio-Nazis anomosity with Iranians, and given the fact that they control US news media, they provide a distroted view of events in Iran whether after the elections of at any other time. Politically speaking non one, but zio-nazis are benefitting from riots and demonstrations in iran. Zio-Nazsis are the biggest losers in case US and Iran get together and become friendly again. Therefore Zio-Nazis are using their utmost power to portray Iran as a backward, undemocratic, and unstable place so that American politicians cannot speak of relations with it.  With can see this attitude on behalf of Zio-Nazisin US congress by their stooges as well. I bet the events themselves were VERY LIKELY planned and or parted by the Zio-Nazis (perhaps in collaboration with the brits). They would have created these riots whether Ahmadinejad won or lost. In the case of Ahmadinejad losing these stooges would kill, burn, and riot as if they were supporters of Ahmadinejad. It turned out that Mousavi lost and that was even a bigger opportunity for the Zio-Nazi stooges. Lets not forget that even before the elections, "third countriy" polls (from outside Iran) showed Ahmadinejad far ahead of other presidential contenders. Look at the reporting of the Zio-Nazi lackys inside iran during the demonstrations and you will know that this whole thing was planned and artificial.
