Hashemi-Rafsanjani's daughter and other relatives arrested

Iranian security forces have arrested five close relatives of Iran's Expediency Council head Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani, including his daughter Faezeh Hashemi. Last night, five members of the former president's family were arrested, Iran Newspaper on Network reported.

Rafsanjani's daughter made a scandal a few years ago by Visiting the Shah of Iran's tomb in Cairo and putting flowers in a gesture of respect to Iran's Last Emperor. It made alot of headlines in Iran at the time. I think it was in 1999 during the Khatami years. Paradoxal no ? ;0)
