UN: IDF did not shell UNRWA school
The Jerusalem Post

A clerical error led the UN to falsely accuse Israel of shelling one of its Gaza schools in the Jabalya refugee camp during Operation Cast Lead, the international organization admitted this week. For close to a month, the UN accused the Israel of hitting the educational compound ran by its Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, which was sheltering more than 1,300 Gazans as the IDF battled Hamas in the camp on January 6.

Clerical Error?! For a month this rotten chamber accused Israel of bombing its "schools" giving ammunition to anti-semite and anti-Israel hordes. The travesty of it is UN-freaking-believable. Also in line with the trains of lie after lie: //www.campus-watch.org/blog/2009/02/rashid-khalidi-gets-caught-in-a-lie.html

For not engaging in "personal attacks" against me. You too should be nominated for sainthood. You are the role model user for the moderators of this site and I am personally very proud of you.

Q

You can take your "responsiblity"

by Q on

and stuff it you know where.

So long as you treat Palestinians like dogs, taking chances with their lives and treating them less than human, you have absolutely no moral standing on this issue. You can bitch and moan all you want. All your excuses are bad sales jobs.

Ostaad

Zion(ist), Israel keeps losing moral ground in the world because

by Ostaad on

its apologists and cheer leaders are as inept and pathetic as you are. This may be way over you head, but you can drop a bomb somewhere or hit a spot and kill people as well as cause buildings to collapse over the heads of the inhabitants, in this case civilians sheltered there, in a large area around the spot where the weapon hit. Therefore the fact that IDF shelled inside or outside the UNHCR school is irrelevant. People died and only people without conscience and morals defend such war crimes.

As to Israel's "investigations", you are right it does such things, but the objectives of such investigations is to whitewash its crimes or pretend they were "mistakes". Israel's criminal "mistakes" are never "clerical". They are always criminal.

You are pitiful Q

Israel's position was very clear. Israel targeted the Hamas members that were identified at that place. Did not say anything about it being a hit inside the school. And it is a fact that UN schools were used as rocket launching sites before. Israel always performs investigations about any given allegation, but the initial response is to clarify the Israeli mode of action and objectives in general, and a further investigation determines whether there was a breach on the general guidelines. There had been cases , like the Al-dura case were Israeli initially took responsibility and later after further investigation retracted. It just shows Israel is playing by the rules and willing to trust the initial allegations of certain institutions. Unfortunately as this case proves, unlike Israel, such organizations lie behind their teeth all the time and engage in dirty tactics and do not deserve the trust. I hope too that Israel will stop giving these jerks any credit whatsoever. Hopefully that they will come. In the mean time, your attempt Q to twist this dirty UN blood libel against Israel yet again is as pathetic and as stinkingly dirty as the UN sh*t itself.

Q

What's really sad

by Q on

is how your first thought is to cover for IDF, when 43 people still died when the shell fell in FRONT of the school.

Yes, it did not hit the walls, congratulations. How do you explain the other 1300 deaths?

Also nice to know IDF makes BS up at the drop of a hat for PR purposes.

Israel in turn initially said that it shelled the school only after it had been fired on by Hamas gunmen hiding in the compound and then, upon reexamination, shifted to say that an errant shell had hit the school.
