Turkish PM granted honorary Tehran citizenship

In a letter released on Monday, Tehran mayor Mohammad-Bagher Qalibaf has named Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as an “honorary Tehran citizen”. Tehran mayor’s move followed a heated debate at the World Economic Forum in Davos in which the Turkish prime minister told Israeli president Shimon Peres that “when it comes to killing, you know very well how to kill.” During the panel discussion which the Arab League chief and the UN secretary general were present Erdogan told Peres: “President Peres you are older than me and your voice is very loud. The reason for you raising your voice is the psychology of guilt.
