Desperate for cash, strapped sellers are using online auctions and flea markets to unload household goods, including possessions of great sentimental value.

What Happened to once Great America?

by almo5000 on

Once an envy of the world in economic power, under a poor leadership (i.e., stupid president) and government mis-management, people of America are suffering economically. This is the greatest lesson for other countries: Choose smart and able leaders and you will own the skies! Choose stupid ones, and you will lose your pants!

Dear Pissed Off,
You do not seem to realize that the way things are going, in just a matter of few years, more than 70% of Americans will be below the poverty line. This discussion is not about Iran, it is about America, once an economic power house, which under a poor leadership just in 8 short years have come such a long way!!!!

You guys don't worry about America.

If there's anything to worry about, it should be the 70% of Iran's population under poverty line.

Sad day for America

I wish something could be done to help Amrican people, perhaps getting rid of stupids in the government, or giving total control of US government to Israelis. They know what to do with Americans monies!!

Yard sales and such...

by K Nassery on

Americans have always had auctions and garage sales.  I remember my grandmother having one 60 yeasrs ago.  They do it on line????  So what...

BBC America has shows where they sell precious paintings to have the money to upgrade their backyards.  Isn't this similar?

I'd say this is enterprise.  The rest of the world should follow suit and clean out their closets.
