NoName Trio, headed by Mobo award-winning jazz pianist Ceri Evans, fuses a concoction of jazz and traditional Iranian music to produce a wildly original set featuring new compositions and fresh takes on classic jazz covers. Ceri is joined by Saleh Zarei on bass and Ali Nourbakhsh on percussion, playing an array of traditional Iranian, Latin American and African instruments. The band formed in July 2009 out of a friendship between the three musicians and their mutual love for experimentations in fusion jazz music.
