Rare recording of a tar master

Compiled by Azam Nemati
May 6, 2004

The first time I bought Aminollah Hussein's music was on a cassette in 1976 while attending university in Iran. I was really touched that an Iranian who had lived most of his life in exile (Paris) and become quite well known as the father of Robert Hussein, the French actor, had never forgotten his homeland. His style of playing tar is truly unique and beautiful. Thanks to Dr. Meshginpoosh for converting this memorable tape of mine for the listening pleasure to iranian.com visitors.
