The square was biult in the aera of Shah abbas the greate and was called for many centuries Shah squiare. In the pass of history Iranian shahs lost more and more on competence and personal dignity. Esfahanis call - up to my opinion - the most beutifull Square EMAM SQUARE. and the stupid government......well it does its best for the square.
