I visited Temple of the Heaven, which became UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998. This is a Taoist temple. It is very different from other Chinese structures in Beijing. Temple of Heaven has glazed blue tiles on all its structures while other Chinese buildings in Beijing have glazed yellow tiles on the roofs. This blue tiled circular structure is Imperial Vault of Heaven.
