This is Prince Gong’s Mansion. Prince Gong (He Shen) had 27 wives and lived like an emperor. The mansion was constructed in 1777. It is one of the most extravagant residences in Beijing. Since 1982 it has been declared as the Chinese National Cultural Heritage.
