As I understand it:

• - Iraj has an anti imperialist viewpoint of the world, and as such his cartoons are the way they are, anti imperialistic.

• - Garbage can is the same as garbage bin, garbage dumpster, garbage heap, trash can, trash bin, trash heap, trash dumpster, ash bin, ash heap, ash dumpster, and so on and so forth.

First, it's good to have Mr. Iraj's different kind of cartoons here. I stay away from cartoons because when I don't get them they make me feel stupid. I believe it to be a very elitist art form!

Now, about this cartoon: Is George Bush the basketball? Can someone please help decipher, so that I can learn to understand political cartoons a little better? Can someone tell me his/her own interpretation of this? Does this cartoon mean that people are throwing George Bush into the garbage can of the history, and all his supporters, such as Cheney and AIPAC "stacked" together, cannot save him?
