This french dude A few years ago on a plane ride from California to Canada

caught me offguard & asked me " that other than great empires & conquest what has Iran and it,s Aryan glory have done for the rest of the world in the field of science, humanity, poetry, medicine lalala?".I prefered at the time to continue daydreaming about my new hot girlfriend waiting for me in Toronto.I dumped a few names but he wasn,t satisfied .

I told him that I am an engineer/buss man & not an historian but a history buff and gave him a nationalist sermon on abu Al massudi &Jaafar al tabari/ historian-whose book "anals of apostle" was taught up to the time of renaissance, Muhhamed ibn musa khwarazmi/the father of Algebra, Ahmad al Yaghoobi/Geography, Abu al rayhan al biruni/philosopher scientist aka Iran,s davinci,  "vestiges of the past", Abu bekr muhhamed al Razi/father of chemistry "kitab al Hawwi", Abu ali al hussein Ibn Sina/Father of medicine"kitab Al Shafa" "ghanoon al Teb" taught at montpellier- louvain universities up to 17th century, Abu nasr Farabi/philosophy,Alghazali/Music and went on to say that it was us Iranians who gave the world Syrup,Golab, hashish ,fire etc....

then he replied that "But those are great moslem scientists who wrote their books in Arabic and there was no so called Iran then anyway & only a Moslem Khalifate and by the same token English person is a french norman with an accent".    I argued yet but didn,t convine him...

a few days later it hit me that ......"A nation whose soul, culture, history, language, alphabet & way of life is taken away is not a nation & has no identity...she will fight for nothing and succumb to everything tyranical"... remember the nomadic hordes who invaded Iran after Arab qonquest . Mongols-Timure &Seljuks who came killed burned raped and left...

Today we have a Occupation neo shia wanneh be Arabic Force in Iran who wants to Vanquish the bulwark of our iranian soul.

Before the last remnants of our Iranian soul is vanished by this "Regimeh Eshghalgareh Arabi" ...We should all wake up & INFORM the youth in Iran more than ever before

This current so called "Reality" is what regime wants

by samsam1111 on

Mr Mehdi:

So we have to put up with what regime dictates as reality? It,s been achieved through 30 years of constant propaganda and brainwashing to worship foreighn ways so it,s a regime created reality. It,s not written in stone and over time with flow of information could be corrected. The only group who benefit from current forced "Reality" is the regime and it,s ideologists.I think you will agree.I agree with you totaly that I am outa touch with todays masses and their level of interest in our heritage or history ..They might even laugh at my nationalism and call me an idiot but that,s okay.I say my piece any way.

Regards!

you are the 1st pro mulah regime dude

by samsam1111 on

keh fohsheh khar madar nadad.

in 1980 just before coming out ,I was one of only 3 students in the whole eng dept among 180 who opposed the hostage taking in US embassy.we were called nokareh amrikaii.....27 years later most of those idiots involved in the actual raid(like Abdi) and high ranking mullah regime official confess that Iran paid a big price for their action.

So my friend masses opinion don,t mean nothing unless well informed & free. And I agree that Iran today by no means is even a pale remnant of what it was before (even during Shah Regime but to a much lesser extent).

I,m not some ultra nationalist dreaming paniranism or ethnic cleansing. only basic respect by mullah regime to our culture and past so our heritage can glue everyone together.mullahs are truly the enemy of our national unity....shia agaisnt sunni..good moslem ,,bad moslem,,nationalist vs hezbollahi...& I tell you what :I,m a democrat and if I see that most Iranian knowingly have no attachment to their past and culture or issues dear to me I will accept it, move on and never mention the word Iran. do you have proof that people don,t agree with me on above issues? I don,t think so!!!

That's fine

But are you sure? would you say that you know more than the youth in Iran?

Would you say that you have discovered something that the young or old in Iran is blind to it? Are you sure?

From my personal experience I would say that most people I know or met in Iran are much more aware than most Iranian individuals that I have met here. AND maybe they know something that you are not willing to listen! Is that possible?
