Shaikh Yusuf EstesYusuf Estes, PhD. (born 1944 in Ohio), is an American convert to Islam and Director of "the Islamic Mission Foundation International", an Islamic research group dedicated to presenting the message of Islam in English according to the Quran, Sunnah.[1]

He was brought up in Texas in a Protestant Christian family; as members of the Disciples of Christ. Yusuf Estes was known then as "Skip Estes".

From 1962 until 1990, he had a career in the music industry, entertainment, marketing, music instructor and music minister and owned several musical instrument companies including Estes Piano and Organ Company. He produced and directed live entertainment programs throughout the United States from the mid 1960's until his last endeavor for cable TV in Florida, etitled "Estes Music Jamboree".[2]

In 1991, Estes had business dealings with a Muslim named Mohamed from Egypt. He learned about the religion of Islam firsthand and converted to Islam after seeing a Catholic priest friend enter Islam. He was then followed by his wife, father, daughters and step mother. He has since pursued Arabic language and Quranic studies in Egypt, Morocco and Turkey.

Since 2005, Yusuf Estes has been regularly appearing on IslamChannel in the UK, as well as Peace TV and on Huda TV which are 24/7 Islamic channels broadcasting in many countries around the globe, via satellite and the website WatchIslam.com TV Channels

His latest efforts are directed toward English speaking Muslim youth and include Muslims sharing videos, and Muslim Chatroom and for young children Preschool Learning

His latest TV series is aimed toward English speaking Muslim children and is entitled, "Qasas Ul Anbiya" Stories of the Prophets.

His Islamic activities include:

Volunteer Imam in a Texas military installation.
National U.S. Chaplain for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, starting 1994.
Delegate to the United Nations Peace Summit for Religious Leaders in August of 2000.
University guest speaker.
Television program producer and director, preacher, syndicated television programs on satellite and cable networks.
Developing many hi-tech Islamic websites, including chatrooms, video conferencing, news sites, reference sites and entertainment sites for youth.

The problem with Islam-bashers is that they look for the wrong-doers who call themselves Moslem rather than the spirit of the message of Islam. This Islam-bashing is not a NEW idea and there's wrong-doers in any idealogy...even Agnosts and Atheists. The problem with Agnost and Atheists are that they have no code of ethics to hold them responsible to.

These Islam-bashers feel more intellectual by attacking Islam, but are ignorant that right from the days of Abraham, there has been people who wanted to blow out the light of Islam, but the will of Allah has different plans.

This is how Islam views men and women:

Article 1122 of Iranian civil law based on laws of Islam:

Defects in a man that gives
the woman the right to end a marriage are as follows:

1) Castration

2)Impotency, provided that he has not even once performed
the matrimonial act of intercourse

3) Amputation of the sexual organ to the extent that he is
unable to perform his marital duty

Article 1123:

The defects that if found
in a woman would give rise to the right of the husband to end the marriage are as follows:

1) Protrusion of the womb

2) Black Leprosy

3) Leprosy

4) Connection of the vaginal and anal passages

5) Being crippled

6) Being blind in both eyes

Somehow everything is related to penis and vagina. Thats how Islam sees men and women as human beings.

So, if a man beats the crap out of the wife on a daily basis, its not a cause for granting of a divorce. If a man becomes crippled, the woman cannot divorce him. If a man's 6 inch penis is somehow cut and is reduced to 2 inches, as long as he can get an get an erection; even once.

Desperately in need of a Vali e Faqih

I am sure the Islamic Republic, as the sole representative of all the muslims of the world and a great inspiration to them all (lol) will see it upon itself to assign a supreme jurisprudent (Vali e Faqih) to be dispatched to Belgium, preferably somebody with a bit of European flair, like Ayatollah Rohani.

Ayatollah Mahdavi-Kani is already reserved for Britain when Muslims take over Britain and need a Vali e Faqih over there.
