My God. Aman az daste baziha
by Iroonie (not verified) on Mon May 05, 2008 12:39 AM CDTWhy you guys are deviating from the essence of the article?
The censorship and dictatorship have always been part of the social system of Iran. This article criticizes both, the last and present regimes. Both are the same SHIT. The future one is going to be the same, I bet you all, guaranteed.
Iraj Pezeshkzad
by Ali P. on Sun May 04, 2008 04:10 PM CDTPezeshkzad was very close to the late Shahpour Bakhtiar's organization( Nehzateh moghaavemateh melli), and would write weekly in their excellent publication, "Ghyaameh Iraan" in the mid 80's, in Europe.
This is the reason for his exile.
He should go back
by Alborzi (not verified) on Sun May 04, 2008 10:16 AM CDTI first read his stories at the back of Ferdowsi
magazine and it was "mashallah dar darbar haroon rashid". He was a very creative person. I do not know the details of his exile, but I know among the Iranians here are great many who are here, just because, they have the money and "citizen" so they are here. Nobody is going to harm them and they may make it more democratic in Iran. I think Pezekzad also may publish his master piece by making fun of mullahs, but he should go back if he can. They do not call it Iran for nothing.
NO Freedom!
by M.Hojjat,Ph.d (not verified) on Sun May 04, 2008 05:01 AM CDTThe Redwine's article was only comparing the two system from eyes of a writer whose books were censored by both regimes. The fact that Shah was a nationalist Dictators and mullahs are Arabs Dictators certainly can not be compared!
Mr/Mrs Redwine
by LA (not verified) on Sun May 04, 2008 01:22 AM CDTMr/ Mrs Redwine, i read your comment a few times to find the message between the line and what you are truly trying to say.. if your subject is the censorship then we all know it's happening all over the world, even here in united states, and there is nothing surprising about that. but if you're trying to use the subject as sublimely to demolish the legacy of the SHAH of iran i feel sorry for your naivety and ignorance.
Comparing Shah & Mullah is like comparing apple @orange
