BLISS Iranian style or not

Woke up feeling completely Blessed! Have been doing my happy dance on my tiled kitchen floor, for the past 1-1/2 hours. With soft socks on, so my feet can glide easier doing their moves in the tiny area. And it's not because my daughter now finally knows the direction she's taking for next year, or the two job offers this week, or the new car, or getting the most thoughtful phone call from an old friend last night. It's just that sense of "I Am" and I love it!

Now I'm heading to the lakes leading to the wildflower filled mountains with a friend and our dogs. I can't think of the last time I felt so relieved and light. If I think I can surely come up with that last time, but I won't. Because it doesn't matter.

When I return I may grab that pen and paper and go at writing all the steps that led me into this wonderful state of being.

After the hike, I must fit that chelo kabab session at some point in this happy day, simply because that has been a ritual that my old friend Shahrzad and I have cherished for the past 25 years. On our birthdays, important anniversaries or accomplishments, Shahrzad and I go for the best chelo kabab we can find. One time we drove one and half hours for that, a long story and can wait. Another plan to help with maintenance of my present condition is to take a nice long road trip, listening to my favorite CDs and looking at the nature this Spring.

On good days I put on the rings, necklaces and bracelets that I have inherited from my beloved grandmother. I want her with me when I'm this happy. Because she is always with me when I feel blue, this is my way of balancing things out with her memories.

This is short but sweet enough for me to want to share it with you. I wish you all a wonderful day as well! Life is Wonderful, don't you ever forget it!

Thank you for reading!

Yes, nothing's for ever and that's a fact, but I unconsciously aim daily at keeping it going at least for myself. Possibly making others feel the joy of being alive is a double whammy.

Actually I had vegetarian Fessenjun on tahdeeg, since my monthly quota of kabob was fulfilled. But I did have a bite of my friend's koobideh. (have you seen Tapesh's blog yet?)

a nice state of being. There is thin line to fall back by distraction of thought, of daily matters. Hanging there, forever.

And here are a Quote & a Poem:

"There is neither happiness nor misery in the world; there is only the comparison of one state to another, nothing more. He who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness": Alexandre Dumas

"Happiness: We rarely feel it.
I would buy it, beg it, steal it,
Pay in coins of dripping blood
For this one transcendent good":

What a wonderful blog. I truly believe that if people emit good energy they will receive back the same, and you demonstrate that with your comments, blogs and nature. You are so positive and sweet. This blog actually cheered ME up! Shows the power of positive energy - it is contagious. Enjoy yourself. xxx
