October 30, 2010:  Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) students protested against a recent visit from *Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi by chanting “murderer, get lost” from the top floors of the school. Pour-Mohammadi was present to deliver a speech [as part of] an exhibition on the topic of a “soft war”. The university security team scrambled to disperse and silence the students,  despite this, reports indicate that the students continued with the chants.

*Translator’s Note: Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi served as a top-ranking official for the Ministry of Intelligence in the 1980′s and the 1990′s. He held the position of  Ministry of Interior in Ahamdinejad’s government between 2005 and 2008. He is believed to have been directly involved in the summer of 1988 prisoner massacres as well as the serial assassinations of dissident writers, artists, and political activists that took place throughout most of the 1990′s.
