از دیوارهای کنگره دار سنگی اش،
قانون سری بلند کرد
و انداخت نگاه پر تبختری.
شهری به امن و امان بود و شحنه اش
با چکمه های نعلدار
و پیتابه های چرم
و سوتک و تفنگ و گورانه اش به دست
در پیش چشم او
گام می کوبید به آهنگ بامداد.
قانون نگاه کرد:
افسرده، بی رمق؛
در حال که دزدان گزیده بر گزین صبحگاه
با کیسه های کلان و کاغذ و قلم،
در جبه های ارغوانی و قشنگ،
محصول خوی مرا
می بردند به یغمای بی دریغ
به آرامی و وقار.
قانون دو چشم دیدن نداشت.
قانونگزار پیر
با انضباط سرد
چشمی بداشتی
بر هر دو چشم من:
اما چه بیدریغ،
اما چه بی نهاد.
دیگر غریو سرکش و دیوانۀ مرا
در گوشهای پر تبختر او
هرگز اثر نبود.
قانونگزار پیر؛
ایام سهل تو مگر
نور از دیدگان تیزبین تو ربوده است؟
شاید هوای نمناک این دیار
تیغ بران ترا هم بسوده است؟
یا مصلحان رند و بداندیش روزگار
با رشوتی کلان
چشمان تیزبین ترا
درها ببسته اند؟
یا حرمت کهنسال پیران شکسته اند؟
اِستاده میخکوب
در برج عاج خویش،
قانون خموش و سرد
دل غرقه در ابهت و تبخترش.
قانونگزار پیر
با خنده می زند
تیری به زخم من.

The other word I'm interested to is "Tabakhtor" if the spelling is correct ?
What does it mean, Manouchehr jan?

Thank you for your interest. This is my general feeling about law, its rigidity, and its main purpose that is to support the interests of the ruling class who at the same time are the law-makers and law-inforcers. The real story which is subject of a novel is over forty pages long.
