This is it...... "BLOG" .....Persian version!

by Fake Nevada City (not verified) on

.

Or should I call it "Majid's version"?
THIS is the true definition of a "BLOG"!
It's artistic! It has a point! It sends a message! It's funny!
It deals with today's issue! It's clever..........
AND.....Ladies and Gentlemen........It's ....none of the above!!

P.S.
Sorry for having an opinion, go ahead and delete it.

Chetoreh?

Americans came up with this test during Shah's time and trained the savak on using it with threats of public humiliation at the Spelling Bee. We all know the IRI has continued this horrible exercise on its own political prisoners. Those of you who are not willing to stand up and say that it is a violation of the Geneva convention and those of you who do not support bombing Iran to a pulp are Islamic fascists.

It's interesting!

by betaraf (not verified) on

because it's for the first time I read a post and the follow on comments in iranian.com that the discussion has not been dragged into a nasty cycle involving the IRI and mullahs (at least not yet!). Can someone please be creative and somehow connect the subject to the Islamic fascism and all that jazz? I'm sure there are a lot of "intellectuals" out there who love to show off their talents.

It has been shown that after some initial training in a new language, our brain recognizes the words based on their graphical appearance. In other words, when you read, words are initially recognized by the part of your brain responsible for imgae processing. The results then are passed to other parts of the brain.

Several leading academics in Iranian universities (specially in Tehran Polytechnique) have applied Artificial Intelligence and image processing techniques for automatic recognition of handwritten Farsi and they have achieved impressive results.

This test has been done on people who have dyslexia and they have no idea what it says. It is interesting because a lot of dyslexics tend to have extremely high I.Q.'s and a very analytical mind. I wonder if we are smarter or better off when we correct it as we read, or if they are for analyzing it more deeply.....

In other words, do we see what we want to see?

You mentioned to a person stupid or dumb because he mis-spelled a word, I think it was brake vs. break. Do you remember that?

Now you say, interesting!! Shame on you.

Nadias
