A while back I made some changes to my website in order to avoid getting iranian google Ads.

I explained the situation in the following article:

I implemented the changes  couple of months ago. So now I can evaluate what has happened ever since.  Indeed, fewer Iranian and Farsi ads appear on the site. Instead other types of ads are appearing on the site. But I'm not exactly holding my breath.

Here is a sample of the Ads that are appearing now.

1. The Vaginitis ad:

The vaginitis ad appears almost all the time. I have no freaking idea why a Vaginitis ad appears on my site. I swear the keyword Vagina hasn't been used anywhere.  Ha Ha ha!!

2. Worship Ads:

Anyone who knows me knows that I am as atheist as one can be. Where the hell did Google get the idea that worshipers come to visit my site? A whore ad would be more apparopiate for my site than a worship ad.

3. Classical music Ads

I hate classical music. Where did Google get the idea that I like Classical music?  The only time I semi-sympathised with classical music was a short period when I was dating someone that only liked classical music. The sex was good, so I really made an effort to try to listen to that srort of music. But as soon as the relationship was over the CD's ended up in the trashcan!!

So, in general, it looks like Google Ads suck one way or another.
