It's the nature of human

by LostIdentity (not verified) on

It's the nature of human being to remember the bad news or deed. Forgetting it is the act of Noble ones!

Here is something good:

Mahatma Gandhi says:

"I wanted to know the best of one who holds today's undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind....I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These -and not the sword- carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life."

Peace;

Dear Feshangi:

This was the first time that I actually watched such discrimination. As everyone said, it is very moving and makes one remember that there are very wonderful and kind hearted people in this country. I also agree it is the media and ignorant politicians who with all of their anti-Islam rhetoric have created this atmosphere.

I hope many Iranians who also enjoy Islam bashing, Arab bashing, etc. learn how it feels to be placed in the position of this young girl.

Thank you again.

Moteshakeram aghaye Feshangi. I think that if there was not so much anti-Islamic propaganda in some of the media, including some of the authors on this web site, even much more Americans would treat innocent Muslims justly.

Dear Midwesty

I never doubted that. There are a lot more good people in this world than the bad ones. It seems to me that we only hear of the bad ones and therefore assume that there are no good ones around. Isn't that a shame?

Thanks Feshangi...

I was quiet emotional to see some Americans came out to defend her. Very moving piece. It makes me believe there are still many good Americans around.
