VOTE'08 - The skinny on Iowa primary results!

Since the final results of Iowa Caucuses were announced, the pundits have put countless spins and explanations on it!
Here's a simple run down:
People are tired of status quo in this country! The young people are tired of being lied to. So, they came out in record numbers and participated in the tired, old process! Hence the good news for Obama! Was Oprah's endorsement a factor? I don't really know; but I suspect NOT! We will know when the contests in bigger TV markets come along, won't we?!
And the basic reason for Hillary's fizzle (in my view) was the fact that she forgot the most important rule of American electioneering: In the party primaries you run as a passionate radical (in her case as a far left liberal) to ensure the maximum appeal to your party's faithful base! Then once you have won the nomination, you move back to the center and run for the national elections as a centrist! I'm very surprised that Hillary forgot this basic rule and has been running a centrist campaign, as if she has already won the nomination and she is running against the Republican finalist! Well, she lost Iowa because of this big error! I'm just surprised that her primary advisor (Bill) allowed this rookie mistake!!!
And on the Republican side, the Evangelical troops turned out in record numbers, to make a last stand against a pack of front runners who included another tired old white guy (Mc Cain) and a Mormon billionnaire (Romney)! Hence the big win for Mike Huckabee!
I suspect McCain will do much better in New Hampshire, although one can not discount the big $$$ (watch out for Rudy and/or Romney's come back. Although in Romney's case, the Mormon stain is going to stay with him all the way and hard to overcome!)

Hillary

Hillary has worked hard to gain this advantage (at least more obviously than others). So, don't count her out yet. She may strike back fiercely in the "key" states :(
Best Choices for US and Middle East

I think both Obama and Huckabee have a better vision for the future of this country and would bring in hope, and lost confidence to American public with a realistic sense of US influence and limitations. The status of economy and how the voters see it will be the most important factor in the outcome of the election. In my view, the Iraq war will make lots of noise during the campaign, but it would be dismissed as a lost cause, and will not play a key role in election results.
As far as Iran is concerned, I must say the people in the ME would stop barking when they see a leader with the power of mind in the white house. And, the future elections in the ME would favor moderate groups with the exception of Iraq.
Obama's victory

-Young people made up a large proportion of the victory. The vast majority of these voted for Obama.
-Actually this youth increased political interest is demonstrated in another policy, which is far from the Bush administration and those Democrats who voted for the Iranq war. Obama's victory implicitly reflects popular hostility to the Bush administration and the war in Iraq—which both Hillary Clinton and John Edwards, Obama’s principal rivals, voted to authorise in 2002.
-Obama was not for this war, but has refused to set any deadline for the withdrawal of American troops. In one of his speeches, he has called for intensifying US military action in Afghanistan by even crossing the border into Pakistan.
-He is not for immediate war- option, including a military attack on Iran, though seems to accepts economic sanctions.
