شعری از سیمین بهبهانی بانوی شعر ایران

خانم بهبهانی در مراسمی که در سفر اخیر ایشان به آمریکا در شهر واشینگتن دی سی برگزار شد برای حاضران این شعر را خواندند.
کسی روشنفکران را بزغاله نامیده بود و این مطلب - به من برخورد و شعر را سرودم
شنیدم باز هم گوهر فشاندی "
که روشنفکر را بزغاله خواندی
ولی ایشان ز خویشانت نبودند
در این خط جمله را بیجا نشاندی
سخن گفتی ز عدل و داد و آن را
به نان و آب مجانی کشاندی
از این نقلت که همچون نقل تر بود
هیاهو شد ؛ عجب توتی تکاندی
سخن هایت ز حکمت دفتری بود
چه کفترها از این دفتر پراندی
ولیکن پول نفت و سفره خلق
ز یادت رفت و زان پس لال ماندی
سخن از آسمان و ریسمان بود
دریغا حرفی از جنگل نراندی
چو از بزغاله کردی یاد ؛ ای کاش
"سلامی هم به میمون می رساندی

He has came to revive the comitiment that the revelution had made to us, that we wouldnt be humilitaed because we dont live in a palace like shomal sharieha, we wont be laughed at because we have to drive a crapy car to make our painful and harsh living.we elected him so No bache soosol and No bacheh mullah will never undermine us again.
O' Dr you saw tears coming down the face of our fathers because, they were embaraced in front of their families for not being able to afford his kid's tuition at Rafsanjani shop.
O' Dr you heard the cry of our mothers who was treated like a shit after a hard working day of cleaning and cooking at bache shomal shari house.
O' Dr you felt the bitterness of us the kids from jonobeh shahr. after putting out so much to defend Iran, we only recievied more humiliation and laugh from bacheh soosol shomal shari amrica rafteh and even more poverty from bacheh mullah tazeh be doran resedeh.
O' Dr you saw, heard and felt the villigers who was told priviously by mullah and their newly adopted shomal sharei firends, He has no say on Iranian politics because he is uneducated and doesnt speak english or french because he didnt have party with this mullah or that mullah.
O' Dr you mean hope for pepole suffering from injustice. you are the pefect example of a not corrupt statetman.
no matter what every bacheh soosol from jordan, farmaneh, ......or mullahs who just moved up there would have to say about you. We the underpriviliaged of southern tehran us 10,000,000 we will support you.
