by Mona 19 (not verified) on Wed Jan 16, 2008 02:37 PM CSTYou are absolutely right.
Observe to what degree the lack of education weaken and degrade people.
At present in spheres of human activity woman does not manifest her natal prerogatives, owing to lack of education and opportunity.
Without doubt education will establish her equality with men.
Regard,
Mona
Mr Rashidian you are correct again!
by Tahirih (not verified) on Wed Jan 16, 2008 10:10 AM CSTI am writing this comment in support of Mr Rashidian's posting. He identifies unequal rights and lack of education as the reason of disproportionate number of women being stoned.
In the world of humanity we find a great difference; the female sex is treated as though inferior, and is not allowed equal rights and privileges. This condition is due not to nature, but to education. In the Divine Creation there is no such distinction. Neither sex is superior to the other in the sight of God. Why then should one sex assert the inferiority of the other, withholding just rights and privileges as though God had given His authority for such a course of action? If women received the same educational advantages as those of men, the result would demonstrate the equality of capacity of both for scholarship.
Humanity can not achieve it's full potential until and unless women are equall to men.

by Jahanshah Rashidian on Wed Jan 16, 2008 09:37 AM CSTAccording to Amnesty “The majority of those sentenced to death in Iran by stoning are women. Women suffer disproportionately from such punishment. One reason is that they are not treated equally before the law and courts, in clear violation of international fair trial standards. They are particularly vulnerable to unfair trials because they are more likely than men to be illiterate and therefore more likely to sign confessions to crimes they did not commit. Discrimination against women in other aspects of their lives also leaves them more susceptible to conviction for adultery,” .
Formation of institutionalised morality in a level of the international institutions like the UN, EU Council, The Haugue Court,..is of course a humanitarian ideal and a support for Human Rights. Such an institutionalised morality can legally and firmly stop any abuse of Human Rights and would encourage democracy and stability in the world.
Unfortunately, a number of factors stand over humanitarian factors. Concretely meant, the civilised world sacrifices its humanitarian values for the lucrative interests, despite our species could only survive if it is adaptive to the basic humanitarian values.
How about end execution
