by Kurdish warrior (not verified) on Thu Jan 17, 2008 05:33 AM CSTIran is not Tehran...Unfortunately Iran is still behind because of the current regime....Tehran might look ok but what about the rest of the country (Kurdistan, Baluchistan, Khuzestan or even Azerbaijan where cities are so underdeveloped, unemployment so high and etc. We need to look at Iran as whole.

You may want to see its progress in every facet of life in ONLY one decade and then compare it with Iran having all richness presented to her. Then, you realize how ruthlessly these non-Iranian mafia mullah clans have robbed Iranian people in last three decades.

I'm not implying that the city looks like a shanty town but come on, if Iran were democratic or atleast allied with the west....who knows who glorious the city would look like, iran cerntainly has the potiental that it never lives up to.
