Happy Birthday dear Farah

by عموجان on

I am so glad she is alive and well to see how people judge her and her family now. I hope all their money they took it made their life easer and better (they were the royal family after all). As a kid who moved around the country in small towns (Sabzevar, Bojnord, Shiraz, Khoramaabad, Brojerd, Abadan, …..) I use to see her when my mother accompanyher to visit orphanages, girls schools and promote women’s rights.

Yeah, yeah, Darius. I see

Yeah, yeah, Darius.

I see the weather's on the mild side in Paris. It's about 27C over here, which is nice for motorcycle riding.

I might still be visiting an Iranian uncle in Paris this coming spring. But I haven't made up my mind.

The last time I went to Paris, we shipped a huge American car across the Atlantic and picked it up in Le Havre. Then I visited family in Paris and Switzerland, and toured the continent by automobile.

This time the trip would be taken solely by jetliner. But I'm interested in renting a motorcycle. That's what I did for my last trip to Hawaii.

January 16th is the more

by Sargord Pirouz on

January 16th is the more relevant date, that being the day of her dethronement and exile.

But yeah, another birthday outside the Meehan. Was it worth the billions of dollars the family stole from the country? I'd bet she doesn't regret the theft one bit, even though the punishment is banishment. Not that high a price to pay, really, if you're of a certain mindset. Which, of course, she is.
