The main suspect who had a direct role in the bombing had been arrested armed in one of northern cities on Wednesday afternoon as he was trying to escape from the country," Intelligence Minister Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Ejei told reporters. The minister said that five other suspects had also been arrested and explosives and cyanide had been confiscated from them, adding that they are all Iranian nationals. A total of 11 people lost their lives and about 200 injured in the explosion which occurred in a religious center in the southern city of Shiraz on April 12, 2008.
