I saw your comment that you agreed with Mr. Abarmard to execute the minor Behnam for his alleged crime when he was 17. what kind of moral do you have?!
When Basiji give others
by Anonymousas (not verified) on Wed May 07, 2008 11:42 AM CDTWhen Basiji give others equal right, then they can expect equal rights for themselves. As it stands right now, Basiji are a totalitarian force who own the discourse and abuse their power against Iran and Iranians. They are a reactionary force who will bring the demise of Iranian nation in the long run. They are a morally and ethically unacceptable to any decent society. They are the Iranian KKK, the IRanian Gestapo, or the IRanian version of lunatic fringe in America, the Christian zionists!!! They have nothing good to offer to humanity or Iran.
When are we going to stop?
by PedramMoallemian on Wed May 07, 2008 11:27 AM CDTDear . (not verified) - You are pointing a much larger problem we have been struggling with for hundreds of years in that the only opinion that is right is our own and our version of truth (and history) is complete and flawless, which of course leaves little room for others.
Unless we can each find a way around that and start to accept that the "basiji", "tudei", "mojahed", "monarchist", "soosool", "dehati", "karegar", "kurd", "arab", etc. are all Iranians with equal rights and an expectation to not only express their opinion, but also participate in deciding the future of their country, we will never move forward.
How did you figure out he is Basiji student?
by . (not verified) on Wed May 07, 2008 08:13 AM CDTAnd suppose he is Basiji student. What is wrong with that? All students have the right to express their point of view peacefully and respectfully. You may disagree with them, but many may disagree with you. That is what makes us HUMANS. Under "W" if you disagree with his war retoric, you are anti-american. Perhaps in your vocabulary too, if someone disagrees with you, there is something wrong with them!. Is that what you are saying?
