I react to the news all the time. I have noticed that the news media refuses to acknowledge the differences between Iran, and non Iranian terminology. I have also recognised that the world does not want to show the real Iran; the Iran that is owned by Iranians; that live in peace and love according to ancient pre-Islamic themes. We Iranians did not mind Iranians believing in anything different. We welcomed diversity. We helped the Jews to get the homeland back. We welcomed Jesus Christ. We even had our high priest (Salman Parsi) become an apostate and create Islam instead of Iran. But true Iran is growing again.

So 17 million out of a population of 70 million. 6 million of them are Basiji, that leaves 11 million. They are probably new voters who have not voted before and are just doing it for the sake of novelty.
