Islamic Jokes
by Anonymouse on Wed Apr 09, 2008 02:26 PM CDTFor the lack of a better word, I used Islamic Jokes. It is like Mullah, Akhoond or Pasdar jokes. Or Montazeri or Ahmadinejad jokes. Here's an old one in English/Farsi:
One day a Pasdar was taking a gay guy to komite. The gay guy called on the Pasdar. Beradar (brother), beradar. Pasdar said nothing. Gay guy continued, beradar, beradar. Pasdar said nothing.
Gay guy this time called him, Karbalayee, karbalayee. Pasdar turned his head quickly (like Michael Jackson moving his head in a flash in the Bad album, whose bad? :-) and angrily asked the gay guy, how do you know my name? Gay guy said, well because ham Karee (deaf) ham Balayee!

by Anonymouse on Wed Apr 09, 2008 12:21 PM CDTThey have been told before and after the revolution and people like it and don't get offended. Marmoulak was a good example of it. Good recital.
That was great!
