منا محمود نژاد يکي از افراد بهائی است که داستانی اين چنينی دارد و واقعا شايسته ساختن همچنين فيلمی می باشد، اما صدها بهائی ديگر که در اوايل انقلاب اعدام شدند نيز جرياناتی همچنينی دارند که هر کدام بسيار جالب است و وقتی همبندان و ديگر زندانيان غير بهائی اين مسائل را تعريف می کنند انسان از وقايع اتفاق افتاده تعجب می کند. به هر حال در حال حاضر نيز دوباره آزار و اذيت هايی درباره بهائیان در حال وقوع است که اتفاقات اول انقلاب را يادآور می شود. به اميد روزی که ايران به دور تبعيض و ظلم و ستم باشد

Baba :) Mel Gibson is NOT the producer...

Dear well meaning Speculators.

Mel Gibson's production company may have shown their rather late appreciation for Jack's Lenz's compositions on Passon lof Chrsit, but one must not confuse the facts...Jack Lenz is the producer on this film and not Mr Gibson, meaning Mr Mel Gibson has not been involved or will have any day to day role or decisions in the making of the film.

I am involved and in contact with the project and speak from the source.

Hopefully once the publicity machine is in place, they can put an end to all this .. 

How ever  well meaning people are with these comments, they are not wholly up to date or accurate. The comment from orlando conference is at least  four years old, and  the comment on the christian forums is based on more heresay and internet chatter.

In any case if Mr Gibson was actually the producer, the web site

http:www.monasdream.com  would have displayed this prominently .

One of the highlights of the Social and Economic Development Conference in Orlando Florida Dec 16-19th

Another very exciting thing we heard about is this:

As you may have heard - Jack Lenz had done some of the music for the Passion of the Christ, the research alone took him 15 months to do, and he told us all at the SED conference, that a few months ago he met again with Mel Gibson and another producer from the movie in a hotel in L.A. and they were so appreciative of what he had done for their movie that they asked him what they could do for him.

Jack is very sweet and the most humble person I know and his eyes sparkle and are always full of gentle happiness. He told them that he had always wanted to see a movie made about the 10 Iranian Baha'i women who had been martyred in the 80's (you know the ones that were martyred along with Mona who was only 15 yrs old and asked to be the last one hung so she could pray for the other woman to stay strong and face their deaths without fear or recanting their Faith - and Doug Cameron years ago had made that video and song "Mona with the Children"). He gave them a letter that Mona had written to read and when the producer looked up he was crying.

So then they said to Jack "What do you need?" And Jack said laughingly "Oh, about $10 million dollars!" and they said "Done!" So Jack has just finished the script and will be sending it to them by the end of this month!

When he told everyone this story at the conference, all the Iranians started crying. I think it was more out of profound gratitude that these courageous souls will not be forgotten and that their story might become immortalized in film.

Jack gave them some Baha'i books to read. We'll see what happens as I understand Mr. Gibson is a very devout Catholic.

The film, entitled Mona’s Dream, is a $10 million project that entered pre-production last May with the financial backing of Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions film company.

Canadian Baha'i musician and composer Jack Lenz was asked to collaborate with Mel Gibson a few years ago on the musical score of the film The Passion of the Christ. Lenz spent more than a year travelling around the world and researching ancient instruments, cultures and their music to come up with an idea of what kind of music would be historically accurate and appropriate for Mel Gibson’s magnum opus. It was widely expected that he would be named as composer for the movie but later on, Mel Gibson and his associates ended up choosing John Debney for that role. Nevertheless, Lenz continued to work on the project and ended up contributing to many of the original titles and songs in the movie.

Could you please explain more ? I have already heard about Mel Gibson's intention of making that movie. what do you mean by he has nothing to do with the movie. I remember you have said this to DK too, but again with very little info.

PS: "heech" in Persian is with the "H"do cheshm.
