The Olympic Flame that was lit in Olympia, Greece, on October 22, 2009, finally arrived in Victoria, British Columbia (BC), on October 30th, where and when the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay began its 106-day, 45,000-kilometre cross-Canada journey. The cross-country journey will be completed at Vancouver’s BC Place on February 12, 2010, as it lights the Olympic Cauldron, signaling the start of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. by Red Wine on Tue Nov 10, 2009 09:52 AM PSTآزاده جان، متأسفانه برنامه ریزی در قدرت من نیست و من به سفارش تلویزیون، کانال یک فرانسه، کانال اودیسه و کانال دولتی کانادا به شمال کانادا خواهم رفت تا از نزدیک با سرخ پوستان آنجا آشنا بشوم.
در آنجا گروهی را همراهی خواهم کرد که از قبل آنجا هستند و هفتهها مشغول به کار !
و داد و بیداد از سرما که این سوز و آن وزش باد سرد،برگهای گرم خاطرههای من را به دامان زمستان خواهد برد...
و من عاجز... شاهد پوسیدگی روحم خواهد بود که برای آخرین بار به انتظار بهار سر از زانو بر میدارد و هنوز هیچ ... !
حتما سر فرصت به مناطق دیگر کانادا سر خواهم زد...
سر شما سبز و دلتان همیشه بهار .

You gripe about the activities of one organization YET SAY NOTHING about the the activities of others who are your own people...
Look up the definition of HYPOCRISY and get back to me.....

I am excited about the Winter Games 'cause I like to watch figure skating and a little bit of ice-dancing. I don't care about skiing, biathlon, and curling. I still remember the Calgary Winter Games!

by Azadeh Azad on Mon Nov 09, 2009 05:25 PM PSTMy pleasure. I don't like cold and winter either; that's why I now live on Vancouver Island (instead of Montreal Island) where the climate is Mediterranean - I still have roses in my garden. Whistler is the only skiing town in British Columbia.
Anyway, welcome to Beautiful BC, but please do come back in spring or summer :-)

این عجیب است که چرا بنده که شمیران زاده هستم(۶ نسل و ۶ شجره نامه تا آنجا که ما خبر داریم!)، هم چین میانه خوبی با این فصل خاکستری ندارم ! دلیلش هم واضح است، بعد از سالها زندگی در میان کشورهای با آب و هوای مدیترانه، تحمل سرما برایم سخت و دشوار است .
یکی از دلایلی که تا به حال به کانادا سفر نکرده ام،به همین خاطر است ! ولی دست تقدیر این بار خواهد که به آنجا بروم...
از عکسها لذت برده شد.
