For the past ten days I've been in Rochester Hills, Michigan, about an hour north of Detroit. My sister Michelle has a house here and she came over from Mexico to rent it. (I was supposed to be helping but I've been working online all day while she swept, cleaned and scrubbed!) The house on Walnut Grove is more like a cabin sitting on 2 acres of beautiful land. It has four bedrooms and an independent in-law unit. She's asking $2,400 a month for it. A bargain if you ask me. If you live in the area and looking for a place, let me know. The in-law unit is my favorite. It's empty, like the rest of the house. But my late mother used to live in it and she left artistic marks here and there.
