Photos of the pomegranate tasting/picking I went last week up near Davis (at the Experimental Orchard) in Winters, northern California. It’s a US Department of Agriculture repository for one of the largest collections of wild and cultivated pomegranate species in the world (there are over 400 apparently). This field of pomegranates had over 200 varieties and Ari and I tasted many of them. It was pomegranate heaven for me.
