The Trafford Centre (opened in 1998) is one of the biggest shopping and leisure complexes in Europe. (1) According to the Trafford Centre Ltd the Centre currently attracts 29.8 million visits annually. (2) The centre’s theatrical and almost surreal atmosphere is partly formed by the display of Eastern and Western architecture and monuments. I guess if there is such a thing as a multicultural building, this must be it!
