Kookoooroo Koooo
by Bahar (not verified) on Wed Feb 20, 2008 12:46 PM CSTMy mom too has a fondness of roosters and I come to find out that is to do with her childhood memories growing up in Shomal and waking up every morning to the neighbour's rooster that functioned as a natural alarm clock. My artistic urge arose and I drew her a colorful rooster for mother's day, but it was soo ugly that she lost all interest. Sorry Mom!
to fed-up
by Anonymous12456 (not verified) on Wed Feb 20, 2008 12:09 PM CSTJust curious, I just want to know why you don't express your objection in a rational and nice manner to her. It is just not healthy to put up with so much and bottle it up.
Obsession
by iri (not verified) on Wed Feb 20, 2008 11:16 AM CSTI know a khoroos who is obsessed with my mother-in-law
Worship Her
by FED-UP (not verified) on Wed Feb 20, 2008 02:26 AM CSTChange those roosters to "cats", and give them "life", add several more objects like thermometers, clocks, mouse pads, sleeping gowns, sweaters, sneakers, dishes, dolls, blankets, (I could go on forever), and you've got "my" mother-in-law's old house. And now imagine all the above moving in to my house.
Very cute
by Jahanshah Javid on Tue Feb 19, 2008 11:30 PM CSTI love your mother-in-law. She's cool!
I have a relative in Los Angeles who also collects all sorts of khoroos stuff. A few years ago he gave me a bottle of wine with his own special khoroos lable! He has a website with the khoroos logo :o)

He's a veteran broadcaster. You might have heard his name on the radio and seen him on satellite TV channels: Farrokh Javid. He has a program on KSRI 24 hour Iranian radion called "Daily Khorsheed":

by Anonymoose (not verified) on Tue Feb 19, 2008 07:46 PM CSTThese were pretty cute! I enjoyed looking at the pictures, and the different "khorooses" are tasteful, not gaudy at all. Thank you for sharing.
