Several famous and influential jazz musicians have been honoured by Montreal Jazz Festival, June 25 to July 6, 2010. Each year, the festival bestows a half-dozen or so significant honors for musicianship or other contributions to music, and this year’s major honorees included Smokey Robinson (Singer), Dave Brubeck (Pianist), Sonny Rollins (Saxophonist) and George Benson (Guitarist).
