Mellow Castro

Compared to previous years, it was a mellow night at Castro. I enjoyed it more this way, without the commotions. I was uncomfortable not dressed up until the guy at the last photo whispered in my ears: "You dressed as a parent!" I felt better after that.

by Sid Sarshar on Tue Nov 03, 2009 10:35 AM PST#34, They were Japanese tourists. With my broken Japanese I had a brief exchange with them and I did not get the impression that they were lovers. I think Erotica Exotica is now on the tour guide books in Japan which explains why there were so many them in Castro that night. There was also a Japanese girl with them who was dressed as the usual “cute Japanese girl” which did not work for me and I excluded her from the photo. The idea of looking into the sky was inspired by the feeling of Eskimos looking at Aurora!
