Strangely "Donald Duck in Ancient Persia” grew out of interest in horror films. Though Disney illustrator Carl Barks was no great movie-goer, he saw several horror classics which contributed to the stories eerie atmosphere. A quest to raise the dead, spells muttered over a magic pool, a frustrated marriage, and honor slaked by death – these are all motifs from Boris Karloff’s classic Horror flick The Mummy (1933); and the spooky old mansion on the hill looks like The Old Dark House in another Karloff movie. Even the mad scientist, with his high forehead and deep-set eyes resembles that veteran horror actor >>>FULL TEXT

The fact is the West does
by anybody (not verified) on Thu Jan 10, 2008 12:08 PM PSTThe fact is the West does not like the Middle East and plays a double edge sword with all countries in the Middle East. That and pinning everybody against each other.
The only thing people like Bush love is oil. They would screw over Dubai if given the chance too.

by refresh our memory (not verified) on Sun Jan 06, 2008 09:24 AM PSTVery interesting Video. Just let’s be fair and remember the reality:
maybe in one side there is a planet of Arab with guns and knives that are fighting for their rights, interests, land, and... but on the other side, there is high tech western civilized world, that for their own dehumanized interests stay in front of them with the most advanced destructive weapons. Of course that is not called barbaric because the destruction is high tech. Please let’s refresh our memory with tale of Iraq....
What Shit

This Proves WEST bent on velifying EAST
by shahhanshah (not verified) on Sat Jan 05, 2008 04:53 PM PSTMost people always tell me that mullahs are the reason that "Iran/Persia" looks bad in media.
This proves that even before "islamic" revolution in iran, the West was already vilifying our countries.
We just forgot those times when the West would do that, and talk about the "glory days" when Shah gave celebration and many rich leaders of world came to see him. But at the same time they were vilifying our people anyway in the media.
This is because WEST IS RACIST. has nothing to do with islam, etc.
I really wonder why you are
by Another lost iranian in France (not verified) on Sat Jan 05, 2008 04:12 PM PSTI really wonder why you are so obsesed by any sort of recognition of Iran, or Iranians in western medias ? Citibank, Donal Duck, and so on, and so on... Like you wanna show us or prove to yourself that we exist, sorry I mean''existed'', cause you always sound like everything was lost...
THANKS!
