Eve without Adam
by Angel of the North (not verified) on Thu Oct 30, 2008 08:17 AM PDTSolitude, almost scary! The paintings have not let any male – or anybody, even viewers look – into their female privacy. However, there is a female pride not by absolute rejecting, but by asking for attention and admiration, through its delicate dancing lines and shiny colours. It is not despairing loneliness, but an individual which enjoy her own company. There are no strict logic of harmony in colour choices, they are shiny and childishly put together. These paintings represent Eve in Garden of Eden who kicked Adam out, but let him to look her over the walls! It is Shirin who know Farhad is watching her, but does not let him in.
Excellent Aida
