by rosie is roxy is roshan on Thu Feb 19, 2009 02:12 PM PSTyou're projecting a little bit on some points but..I won't go so far as to supply the links to prove it...point being I know you're just playing with us but if you really want t not be bored I think you'll have to go play with yourself, I mean BY yourself and make good on your promise to finish that series on Monique Plastique at Caesar's Palace of Sin. I am personally waiting to see when the threesome part comes in. But of course that's just me...
although I DO have to say that Bruce getting off on a Republican iS just as good. Why don't you chuck the Vegas series and write about that instead?

A seat
Was so conspicuously
Set up among all the other seats in arrangement
With distinct recognition in enchantment
Guests came in ...
More guests came in ...
No one went to sit on it
Despite the congestion & smallness of room
I went to the host
And asked her in whisper...
I am an stranger here
And don't understand
Why no one goes to set on that vacant seat
She said quietly in a gentle voice...
"That who sits on that seat"
"His spirit will abandon him upon contact"
Upon hearing the answer
I thanked God
For not going to sit on that seat
On my own without knowing its horrific consequences

by Azadeh Azad on Tue Feb 17, 2009 03:10 PM PSTNazy Jaan,
Thanks for showing us the delightful pictures of your fellow bloggers, writers and artists.
I particularly loved to see Ari from different angles. After his unbelievable compliment on my poem and seeing his gorgeous face, I think I have a serious crush on him! :-) Just look at him below! Isn't he a Persian Adonis?
Just kidding Ari Jaan. Not that anything is wrong with my having a serious crush on you :-)
Thanks again, dearest Nazy,

On Hair And Such!
by Nazy Kaviani on Tue Feb 17, 2009 11:10 AM PSTYou guys are too good to me! I think Multiple's reference is to a piece I wrote about cutting my hair last weekend. I'm afraid my hair continues to have the requisite Iranian woman highlights in it! Can't help it! It's kaalcheraal!
I had to eliminate so many pictures from this piece to keep from further boring Siamack! There were hundreds more of very special people, doing ordinary things like singing and dancing, signing books, and showing their artwork. I know for sure that none of them were doing the things Siamack suggested, but who knows, maybe they will sometime and I will be there to snap the pictures and share them with you later (or extort enough money to be able to move to better parts of the Bay Area!).
My friends are fabulous, and so are all of you. Do come and visit when in our area.

Boring!!!
by Siamack Baniameri on Tue Feb 17, 2009 10:38 AM PSTWe want the next Iranian “San Fran party” to be held in a titty bar. we wanna see pictures of JJ burying his face into a pair of triple- Ds while updating Iranian.com on his laptop and Bruce getting lap dances from two republican dancers dressed like Rostam and Sohrab. We would like to see Siamack Salary video tape the whole event. we also want to see Darious Kadivar wrestle a dancer who slightly resembles Farah Pahlavi in her sixties. Additionally, we would like to ask “Beyond Persia” to organize a drunken orgy with Kiosk smashing their instruments on heads of their groupies and Namjoo getting his head shaved on stage by a legally blind hairdresser/blogger who has done time in Evin prison before going on a book tour with Akbar Ganji. Please, add some excitement to these events.

what a great crowd you hang out with, some of my most favorite bloggers and artists... I am jealous a bit ;-)
This is an awesome photo essay, I am sure it took a lot of time organizing it and writing all the captions. Nice! and thanks for the hard work to give us all a taste of the life in the Bay area.
It was great to see JJ, Ari, Monda and Hamed's pics, Hamed Nikpay is definitely on his way to a great successful career and Saman looks a lot more handsome than I had pictured.
Now I feel like a peeping Tom having seen all the beautiful pictures of your friends and I really need to take a trip up north some day ;-)

by florida voice (not verified) on Tue Feb 17, 2009 09:33 AM PSTNazy jan,
thanks for sharing your precious moments filled with enrichment, growth, love, peace, and simply pure with the rest of us.
First of all, your pure smile speaks of you and the kind of person you are...Secondly, if I had a choice to find the best seat in the house, I sure would love to have a seat near you to feel the positive energy. Lastly, I am so happy for you to have had such great group of people around you to add to who you are and where you are heading in life.
Too bad, I am not in SF because if I were, I would stop by to introduce myself.
My best wishes!

by TheMrs on Tue Feb 17, 2009 09:31 AM PSTPersonally, I found the pictures I browsed through to be quite interesting. As photos of strangers go, I always look in the back ground and some of these were hilarious. Quick question though, what does it mean to be a successful blogger? And you DON'T have a lot of hair as suggested here, there's no such thing. One can never have enough. Especially for a woman. It's very unattractive for a woman to have very fine, thin hair that stick flat on the head. Yours is very nice. I would go a few shades darker though. Not that anyone asked me...
Thanks

sunny San Fracisco???
by coral reefs (not verified) on Tue Feb 17, 2009 08:34 AM PSTCome again? San Fracisco weather is like a terribly moody person, you never know what to expect next. You always have to layer your clothing, even in the heat of August, including the day time hours! I moved there from sunny Florida, a few years back in the summer months. I didn't know I needed heat in those months! I almost froze there! And the ever present depressing fog of San Francisco. I moved out of there is less than a year. I only like their politics.
Wow!
by Multiple Personality Disorder on Tue Feb 17, 2009 08:17 AM PSTYou have a lot of hair.
