The art of giving

Photo essay: Child Foundation's Norooz bazaar in southern California

Child Foundation held it's 7th annual Norooz Bazaar in Los Angeles and Irvine recently. The fundraising events were very successful and hundreds of Iranians visited the bazaars right before Norooz 1387. Established in 1994, Child Foundation is an international non-profit organization that helps children in need to remain in school. This is achieved by providing food, clothing, educational materials, and medical assistance to talented children who are economically disadvantaged. Child Foundation supports the 2015 Millennium Development Goals to eradicate hunger, promote primary education and gender equality in the classroom. As a public charity we have no religious, political, or racial affiliations>>>childfoundation.org

I was at both LA and Irvine Bazaars, both were great. Many Merchants and great selections. Entertainment was fantastic and their DJ was so cool. Great cause!
Looking forward for future events:)

a question

by Azarin Sadegh on

Hi Payman,

Voila my question: Is it ok for your organization, if I post online (for example on iranian.com) the picture of the girl you sent me, with a little note about her life story. I really think if you let the public see their faces and know about their sad but true stories, it is going to have a stronger impact for your cause.

#15 and #17

by Azarin Sadegh on

I was surprised to see the picture of my husband and my younger son in #15 and also my best friend and her boys in #17! Of course a little piece of me and my red jackett was also in the 15...Thanks Payman!

Btw, thank you so much for sending me the picture of the girl that I am sponsoring for your wonderful cause. For me, it was so moving to see her sad eyes, and I hope that I would see happier pictures of her in the future.
