Ad Placement and Pricing

Here is a three-minute video-tour that gives an overview of the PREMIUM AD ZONES (at the top of the page) on Iranian.com. The next video does the same for regular BOX ADS..

Advertising On Iranian.com is as simple as 1, 2, 3.    

1.  Choose the "ZONE" your ad will run in.  

2.  Chose the REGIONs  you want to cover -- 

• Eastern North America (about 35% of our traffic), 
• Western North America, (about 35% of traffic) or 
• Europe / Rest of World (30% of traffic, mostly in Europe)

The dividing line in North America (US and Canada) is the Mississippi River.

3.  Fill Out the Order Form (in .xls or .pdf formats).

• Name, contact information
• Start and Stop dates for campaign
• Payment details
• Submitting the artwork for the ad itself 
• The "destination" web page when people click on the ad 

We need 24 hours notice and prepayment to run your ads.

Price List

Premium Ads.   The two large ads at the top of the left and right columns are $5.00 per thousand impressions ("CPM"), whereas the leaderboard (in the masthead) is $3.00 CPM.

Box Ads.  The box ads (160x160) run in the left column, appear on every pageview (in the "region") and are re-ordered randomly (top to bottom)on each page view.

• $400/month for one region
• $720/month for two regions
• $960/month for all regions (worldwide)

Rules and Regs

• Artwork.   We cannot help you create artwork.  Use any good graphical designer.  One that works with many of our clients is Ardalan Payvar, ardalan[AT]tactdesign[DOT]com.
• File Types.  We support flash, .jpg, .png, .gif and .bmp graphical ads.
• Hosting.  We support hosting of your ads on our servers, on your servers or on third-party servers.
• File Sizes.  Each graphical file must be 50 kb or less, with up to 100 kb of polite download following full page rendering.
• Animation/Rich Media.  We prefer non-animated ads.  No animation lasting longer than 6 seconds will be permitted.  
• Ordering.  Orders are taken by email or by Insertion Order form. Minimum order size is $200.
• Prepayment or Credit Accounts.   Advertisers may prepay their accounts using credit cards, PayPal, Google Checkout, checks or wire transfers.  If Advertisers wish to set up a credit account, they need to contact us about  an Account Opening Form, including credit application and bank references.
• Discounts.  We discount prices 20% for bona-fide non-profit organizations.  Also, there are other discounts available and factored in on the Order Form.  If you qualify for both, the discounts are multiplied together.
• Reports.  We can give you weekly reports of impressions per ad, clicks, and click through rate.
