U.N. Report Blasts Iran Human Rights Offenses

Special Rapporteur has catalogued numerous examples

New York Times: A United Nations investigator of Iran’s human rights record castigated its government for what he called evidence of “a striking pattern of violations of fundamental human rights guaranteed under international law.” A 36-page report by the investigator, Ahmed Shaheed, a special rapporteur for the Human Rights Council, catalogued numerous examples, including violations of due process in the courts, illegal detentions, extensive accusations of torture of prisoners, and maltreatment of dissidents, minorities, journalists and women. The report praised Iran for omitting stoning as a form of capital punishment in its new penal code, but it faulted the country for its large number of executions, mostly in drug cases, which increased to at least 670 cases last year from 100 in 2003 >>>

DEATH TO THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC

by Simorgh5555 on

There is only one solution. Targeted strikes on the Basij, Sepah, the Iranian parliament (Majlis), a sustained targeted assassination policy of the Supreme Leader, members of the IR Judiciary the President and the other IR Terrorist luminaries responsible for human rights violations.

Netanyahu is right . Diplomacy with the IR has failed whether it is terror inside the country or outside it

Netanyahu says "Israel cannot wait". We Iranians cannot wait either. We have waited for 33 years. Now is the time for regime change.

DEATH TO THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC. CONDEMN IT. FIGHT IT. DESTROY IT.

Cataloging human rights abuses and violation of those rights is a step in the right direction, though it should not be limited to only talks and cataloging them but an active plan to bring those responsible for these violation to justice.   These steps will be in line with the Iranian people’s wish and aspiration for peace, freedom and democracy in their home-land.
