The difference between indoors and outdoors  time is significant. By the way, unfair comparison: a naked gazelle wouldn't stand a chance against Dee Dee and Natasha, much less one wrapped in a hejab.

The record that you have mentioned is for outdoors. The indoor records are much slower. The European record is 49.59 and the US record is 50.78.

The reason the outdoor records are better is because of the fewer number of curves, fresh air, wind and better surface.
