You're right aziz.  But I think the origin has to do with the three monotheistic religions' lack of flexibility, especially Islam and Judaism.  In the ME there was no reformation as there was in Europe and that is a big part of our problems.  The consolation is that after this regime is overthrown, 100 years from now, there will be an Islamic reformation in Iran.

His life is a proof that we Iranians don`t "agree to disagree"! We either have to "agree" or have to "disagree". We are either "khodi" or "nakhodi" or all the way "bikhodi".

I don`t understand why a Hezbollahi can`t live with a Shahdoost or why a whahdoost can`t live with a libera or federalist or even sepratists?

Why can`t we just get along with one another? why it has to be my idea on the table and everyone else must just shut up?

Why we can`t have "Soofi rahe masjed shod man rahieh khammar"

Eesa be dineh khodesh, Moosa be dineh khodesh?
