Concern has been growing over Orumiyeh Lake which has been drying up rapidly. Azari football fans shout slogan against the Majles whose deputies have refused to debate solutions for the problem:
اورمو گولو جان وریر / مجلیس اونون قتلینه فرمان وریر
دریاچه اورمیه جان می دهد / مجلس به قتل آن فرمان می دهد

Iranian people are running out of patience with the IRI.
by Marathon-Man on Fri Aug 26, 2011 12:22 PM PDTIn a normal situation and a normal country you do not hear that sort of chants from a football stadum actually.
The nation has had enough of this barbaric regime and will take any oppurtunity to show it's abhorrence.
Iran at brink of environmental disaster.
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Fri Aug 26, 2011 11:44 AM PDTThanks largely to islamist regime's corruption, willfull negligence and theft of our countries natural resources, from Oil to timber, Iran is facing a real environmental disaster which will be affecting our country and it's people for generations to come.
p.s. I noticed that the soccer grounds, as one of the very few venues where young Iranians can still gather in large numbers, is being used more and more, by our bright inventive youth as a forum for raising slogans against the fascist islamist rule.

Stop the racist talk
by Shifteh Ansari on Fri Aug 26, 2011 11:40 AM PDTThere could be a number of reasons non-Iranians may care about, love, and be interested in Iran and Iranians.
On the other hand, there may be those who are Iranians and pretend to care about Iran, but support those policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran that have brought nothing but isolation and prospects of a war on Iran and the Iranian nation.
Or those who speak Farsi and say they are Iranians, but who are actually paid propagandists of other states or interest groups.
Stop harassing Yolanda from post to post. Say your own piece and let others say their own. If you are really a newcomer to this site, it will take you a while to figure out the sereh from na-sereh. Take your time, that's my advice.
Iran's interests? Don't think so ...
by BoosBoos on Fri Aug 26, 2011 10:50 AM PDT" by yolanda on Fri Aug 26, 2011 10:29 AM PDT Of course, they don't have time for a drying lake 'cause IRI is busy ... enriching uranium "
Based on your comment, and logic, Israel should stop enriching uranium and sell it's nuclear arsenal to solve water shortages in the Gaza strip or to buy seeds to grow flowers, right? Of course not - your entire online existence is to push interests contrary to Iran's. The majority of Iranians support Iran's right to enrich uranium and to have a nuclear program. The real question is where was the world in stoping Israel, india, and Pakistan from sparking a nuclear arms race in the Middle East (Israel actually started it). Why is a non-Iranian constantly posting about iran?

Thanks Ghorme Sabzi for posting about this issue
by Anahid Hojjati on Fri Aug 26, 2011 10:45 AM PDTThis issue seems to have touched a never with people. A facebook friend of mine from Iran had a video about it , and I remember reading about it from various groups. This is interesting that even in football stadium, people were shouting slogans about it. Thanks for posting this video.
