The Persian empire and Iran have/had several deserts. If he had an Arabian rag on his head then I would call him the arabian warrior.

I had seen the other two commercials but not with the persian warrior.  The shape of the bottle of Pom reminds me of the drink featured in the film "dont mess with Zohan" called Fizzy-Bubbeleh.

Thank you, IranFirst, for the behind the scene link.....the commercial seems to be filmed in Death Valley National Park's sand dune.....

The Pom's website also mentioned the pomegranate was native to Iran and migrated as far east as China.....pomegranates have many Biblical references and Zoroastrian connections! Super interesting!

Iran has two largest deserts in the world and now we get hurt if they show the prince in the desert. Lets not be too sensitive.

I saw this commercial last night in food  network. Now I'm gonna buy Pom.

What happened to the guy's Persian chest hair? :O).......oh, the actor is not Persian! We need authentic Persian actor for the commercial to make it more believable!

An Arabian Prince

After you are done with the drink, enjoy the subtext of the commercial which portrays the Persian dude as a desert guy!

Never increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything.
