Wow! Khomenei has a wax statue in US! One month ago, I went to the Wax museum next to Knotts Berry Farm (Anaheim, CA) and realized it folded already.......maybe we can protest in front of his wax statue 'cause there is no IRI embassy or consulate here...
Thank you, IranFirst, for finding the rare mullah statues....wow! you are great! You are right that they are very ugly 'cause they don't know how to smile and they have this mean & cruel look...(AN is ugly, too, but he smiles)...I noticed that Iran does not have a lot of statues, but they have the 2 ayatollahs' images on murals, billboards, & government offices all over the place....they are ubiquitous....they remind people of who is calling the shots over there.....it is time to bring down the "idol" both physically and mentally..... that is why this poster is so powerful!
Generally you are right there are not that many Mullah statues. personally I think is bacause they are mostly/all very ugly and out of shape to have a statue of.
But, mullah statues DO exist. here is one of that evil Khomeini. This one is in Hamadan

by MM on Thu Feb 04, 2010 01:42 AM PSTThere is another statue of Khomeini in Dallas, Texas. This one is in the same display as Saddam and Hitler in a wax museum:

It is funny that there was another statue that kept popping up in my search: a statue of Darth-Vader:

by hamsade ghadimi on Mon Feb 01, 2010 12:12 PM PSTand let's not build statues of political and religious leaders again. perhaps we can melt the statue and make sifon handles out of it.
